Lauren Conrad's Book Style - second post

I know I have already talked about this book, but I talked about it before I bought it. It is actually really great! I love the fact that she writes like if she was talking to her best friend. She has really great tips, tricks, and ideas. I think it is really worth taking a look at. I give it two thumbs up!!! I hope all of you fashionistas enjoy!

Loose Waves

It is really easy to do your hair with loose waves everyday. After you wash your hair spray your hair with texturizing or volumizing moose. Scrub your hair vigorously with a towel. Once your hair is dry, separate your hair, and curl it wit a 1-1 1/2 inch curling iron. Between washes sleep with your hair in a bun. You will have perfect loose waves everyday! Burlesque - Show it and Glow it Nail polish

I have talked about the entire collection before but I actually bought this color and I really love it! It is really shocking and sparkly so if you are not the type to make a statement it probably isn't for you. I got a lot of compliments from people at school and even at stores. I think it is a girly, fun color and is worth a shot. I hope all of you fashionista's enjoy!

Lauren Conrad's new book style

Lauren Conrad stared on the reality TV show the Hills. She has now emerged into the fashion business and wrote a new book called Style. I am hoping to purchase the book very soon! It basically gives you all of her tips in tricks from clothes and shoes to hair and makeup. I think it is just a way to get new ideas and help you try new things with you style. I hope all of you fashionistas enjoy!

Tim Gunn- Every Girls Necessity

Tim Gunn is a famous fashion consultent and mentors all of the designers on Project Runway. Occording to him the basics every girl needs in her wardrobe are:

Peace, Love, World is a super cute store. I want a one of their jackets for Christmas. I really like the designs they have. The have more than just jackets; they have cell phone cases, caps, and T-shirts too. I really love the store and I hope you guys check it out. I hope all of you fashionistas enjoy!

Essie Winter Collection

Essie recently came out with a new collection for the winter. The colors are Smoking Hot (dark grey), Masquerade Belle (dark reddish purple), Silken Cord (bright red), Hot Cocoa (light brownish grey), Luxedo (dark purple), Going Incognito (medium green). My personal favorites are Masquerade Belle, Luxedo, and Incognito. I think they are really great colors for this season. I hope all of you fashionistas enjoy!

Hair Accessories

Hair accessories can be super cute no matter how old you are. The trick is knowing what looks good and what is just over the top. I personally think head bands and clips are super cute and can really help take care of a bad hair day. Also, knowing the difference between which hair accessories to wear at night and which ones to wear during the day is really important. I think all of you should try a new hair style with a cute accessory and see how many compliments you get! I hope all of you fashionistas enjoy!

Tory Burch Cheetah Flats

I am in love with Tory Burch flats to begin with, but the cheetah flats are to die for! First of all they are extremely comfortable. They are also very feminine and modern. The only thing is, is that they are fairly expensive and are definitely a splurge piece. I hope all of you fashionista's enjoy!

Pandora Bracelets

Pandora bracelets are very popular. They come in several styles and colors and have a variety of charms. All of the items have a range of prices. I own a silver Pandora bracelet wit silver, red and pink charms. I hope all of you fashionistas enjoy!

Rose Gold

The latest trend for watches is the rose gold. Brands and designers such as Michael Kors and DKNY have several rose gold watches. Some are just plain rose gold while others are mixed with white or grey. The rose gold is different and makes a statement. What is great about it is that it matches with anything. My favorite are the Michael Kors watches. If you are looking for a new trendy watch to purchase you should definitely check them out. True Religion Jeans

I recently bought myself a pair of True Religion jeans. I personally think they are quite pricey, but I guess it is okay to splurge once and a while. I really like the variety of jeans they have. I found a lot of different cuts and washes. I especially like that they tailor them for you at the store. Overall, I think they are worth checking out. I hope all of you fashionistas enjoy!

Life Saving Hairstyle for THE BAD HAIR DAY!

Do you ever have a bad hair day that no matter what you do your hair is out of control? Well if you do I have the perfect hairstyle that will save your life! First, grab the first fourth of your hair and divide it into two equeal sections. Second, braid one of the sections back and secure it with a bobby pin three fourths of the way down your head. Third, do the second step again with the second section. Fourth, grab the rest of your hair and twirl it into a messy bun and secure with hair ties or bobby pins. Perfect! Your hair looks great in four easy steps, even on your worst hair days! I hope all of you fashionistas enjoy!

Burlesque OPI Collection

I have talked about OPI before but for those of you who don't know it is a nail polish brand. Their new collection is for the movie Burlesque starring Cher and Cristina Aguilara. Glitter is really in this season so the collection has a lot of glittery nail polishes and bright colors. My personal favorites are Show It and Glow It and Sparkle-icious. I hope all of you fashionista's enjoy!

Fall's Colors

This season the colors are very clean. Neutrals are very popular. For example, black, grey, navy, and beige. Nude colors are also big this season such as tan, cream, peach, etc. These colors were displayed in several fashion shows during the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week.

Glitzerland OPI

Glitzerland from OPI, is one of my favorite colors from the Swiss collection. It is a shimmery gold color that looks great. Since it is metallic it matches with everything. The color makes the skin appear tanner which is great during the fall and winter when you can't go to the beach as often. I hope all of you fashionistas enjoy!

YouTube Beauty Guru

On YouTube there are several girls who post videos about anything that has to do with beauty and fashion. Two of them are juicystar07 and allthatglitters21. I really love how they give you tips and tricks. They know a lot about make-up. I love the fact that they are very down to earth. I hope all of you fashionistas enjoy!

Marc by Marc Jacobs Watches

Marc Jacobs is a very famous and successful designer. One of his fashion lines is called Marc by Marc Jacobs. I especially love his watches. Some of them are leather and then have very cool designs to replace the numbers on the face of the watch. Some of the designs are hearts, skulls, or little faces. From what I've seen, these watches come in black and white, and white with color. I love these watches and hope you do too. I hope all of you fashionistas enjoy!

Steve Madden Meet and Greet

This Friday, Steve Madden had a meet and greet at Nordstrom in Aventura. I attended this event and it was truly amazing. They were raffling shoes every fifteen minutes! He was giving away free T-shirts and tote bags. He took a picture with me and signed my tote bag. One of my friends got the arch of her Steve Madden heel signed. It was a lot of fun and a great experience. I hope all of you fashionistas enjoy!

Rachel Zoe

Rachel Zoe is a professional stylist for several well known celebrities. She styles celebrities such as Kate Hudson, Demi Moore, and Cameron Diaz. I think her taste in clothes is exquisite. I think it is remarkable how every time she styles celebrities they end up on the best dressed list. When i grow up I would love to be a personal stylist just like her. I think it would be amazing to attend fashion shows, meet designers, and most of all show off my taste in clothes. I think Rachel Zoe is an amazing role model with an amazing job! Betsy Johnson

Betsy Johnson is a very eccentric designer. All of her pieces are very edgy yet feminine and a little wild. Her dresses fit the body perfectly and give a very flattering figure. All of her pieces are very fun to wear. They are also perfect to incorporate to a boring outfit. She is able to make wild pieces that are still practical. Some of her products, especially her dresses, can be quite expensive for the everyday girl. They are basically splurge pieces that every girl should invest in. I hope all of you fashionistas enjoy!

Steve Madden

Steve Madden is a brand that mainly makes trendy shoes and accessories. The shoes are very comfortable, reasonably priced, and very stylish. I have several shoes from Steve Madden because it is one of my favorite brands. The shoes range from simple pumps to edgy sandals. Steve Madden carries a shoe for any occasion. I hope all of you fashionistas enjoy!

Jeggings

Jeggings are definitely written on my shopping list. They are basically leggings that look like jeans. They are so much lighter and more comfortable than jeans but look exactly the same which is great. They come in many different washes so they go great with any look or outfit you are trying to pull off. Jeggings fit very close to the leg, which give you a great sleek and sophisticated look. I love to pair jeggings with ballet flats and loose fitting blouses. I hope all of you fashionistas enjoy!

Essie fall/winter Collection

Essie is another nail polish brand. Its 2010 fall/winter collection has great colors. This collection has great deep reds and purples which are great for this season. The names are In Stitches (dusty rose), Limited Addiction (deep red), Sew Psyched (gray), Merino Cool (grayish purple), Velvet Voyeur (deep purple), and Little Brown Dress (Chocolate Brown). I hope all of you fashionistas enjoy!

O.P.I Swiss collection

O.P.I. is a brand for nail polish. It's latest collection is the Swiss collection which has the best colors for fall and winter. There are several reds and purples that are to die for! Some of my favorite colors from this collection are Color so Hot it Berns (vibrant red), From A to Z-lurch (berry), Glitzerland (shimmery champagne), Diva of Geneva (perfect shade of purple), and Cuckoo for this color (teal). Army Trend

Army inspired pieces are one of the biggest things this season. It can be very difficult to incorporate it into your every day wardrobe. Instead of items with army print you can get an army inspired blazer or vest. You can also incorporate this trend by buying staple pieces in colors found in an army print such as: army green, beige, brown, etc. I hope all of you fashionistas enjoy!
